Stacy Swann is the CEO and Founding Partner of Climate Finance Advisors. Climate Finance Advisors works with investors, fund managers, and project developers, and public policymakers to develop and implement investment strategies to address climate change, including climate-related financial products, funds, and investment vehicles, and integrating practical approaches to managing climate-related financial risks.
Ms. Swann is experienced in finance and fund management and development. At the International Finance Corporation (IFC), she established and was Head of its Blended Finance Unit. She also supported World Bank Group efforts to work with policymakers and other financial institutions on issues related to blended finance, climate finance, climate-smart fiscal policies, and incorporating practical policy and investment approaches to managing climate risk. In 2014, she was appointed the Senior Advisor for Climate Finance at the U.S. Department of Treasury, where she supported efforts on climate finance. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, she worked as a developer of infrastructure projects in India and Singapore.
Stacy holds an MBA in Finance and Development from American University, a master’s degree from Harvard University, and a bachelor’s degree from City University of New York - Hunter College.
